EXCELLENCE was a trial failure, but not the type of trial failure that leads to the conclusion that the drug's shortcomings were responsible for the trial failure. You can get to try again in this circumstance.

No. The EXCELLENCE trial failed. Whether Blarcamesine failed is an open question that will have to be answered by better-designed trials in the future.
