A Cage Code is a Vendor's (or Manufacturer's or Supplier's) numerical code that is assigned when such registers to submit bids or applications to the US Federal Government, and the Code is used thruout the lifespan of that Vendor, Manufacturer, or Supplier. The Government uses the Cage Code to identify that entity, usually a COmpany but can also be an individual.
