Its the Madoff vs. TGD conundrum that keeps playing out.

Nice FUD spin...

The fact that Missling recently pivoted to 3-71 in schizophrenia for the next AVXL clinical trial may have been a "tell" that AVXL's focus solely on 2-73 has shifted

It's not a pivot at all; it's a continuation of planned trials for their follow-on drug 3-71 (P1 happened many months ago). They are managing an entire platform of SigmaCeptor drugs with 2-73 leading the way and likely to be approved later this year. Not hard of comprehend, really.

Missling already explained they were waiting on Excellence... for voucher purposes.

So far as I know, there was nothing to prevent AVXL from filing a U.S. NDA last year

Hmmm... Why do people dismiss Missling's comments or forget what was said?

Think like a CEO. I know, it’s a bar many levels too high for some.

Ya think he might be applying the screws to potential M&A suitors and indirectly to the short haired sellers. It seems the results are pretty stellar for every trial. Rett results were good! Let’s see how this plays out.

Posters exploit tactics, while CEOs execute strategies.

It’s been a long, bumpy ride. Most longs have way, way more shares than we need. Let’s say generational changing shares. Now is not the time to succumb to tactics.

I largely agree with your post, including your skepticism (which is properly hedged IMO) and your "belief ... that now is not the time to sell out a position in AVXL" and your "belief that the AVXL platform will [probably] eventually reward investors." I added "probably," but I don't think that changes what you meant. :) Yes, it's a crapshoot, but a pretty good (but not WGT!) one.

My selling when I did was far from brilliant, but I'd had two other large holdings surprisingly suffer major drops and I felt on the precipice of too much loss all around; and I really was overinvested in AVXL. I still have enough to make me rich if its pipeline does as well as I hope.

Agree.

It's been a long ride for me and I share many of the thoughts you have outlined. It was nice to offer the market a few shares in 2021 but that was indeed awhile ago. I have been favorable in my postings since originally purchasing but have recently become more skeptical in some of my comments. Being somewhat of a historical believer commentor certainly is not reflected in the current share price and the governor is off. I certainly do not feel like I owe anyone any favors such that I need to stifle my views to assist them with their pump & dump swing trades.

Here's to good days ahead with our eyes wide open.
