Races when so late one day that the top fuel (nitro) finals were after dark. Two of these guys running side by side is quite a show. Got to cover your ears and the flames coming out the exhaust was beautiful.
The finals were always here in Phoenix. Lucas Oil pulled their sponsorship and that was the end of Top Fuel as far as I know.
