That's easy, battery swapping allows for constant inspection of battery cells for dendrite buildup to help prevent spontaneous combustion events and maybe even some out of control events if a surge in power due to thermal runaway can cause an EV to suffer SUA events. Outside of this I dont see how doing such a thing is cost effective. Nice in theory.

Nio has both per car…but literally all Nio owners use swap…u get brand u battery….swap takes 3 min…u never leave ur car…supercharging still destroys Battery over time…making car useless for resale…swap is the future..that’s why so many companies are partnering with Nio’s swap stations..

Over 35 million swaps so far.. it’s the future..even Neil DeGrasse Tyson said it on JR podcast,
