Yes, I believe the company is in control regarding what MZ group can and cannot say. They will review with MZ a release prior to doing so probably largely to be careful on language. A big reason LWLG uses MZ group is cost. Here is a sample of the part of a typical contract MZ group would offer and their services are cheap until the company reaches clear profitability. Even then, the increase in compensation is not outlandish. From their website they provide a lot of corporate management and legal advise (although not always company specific I suppose). They even get shares in the company if Lightwave takes off.

V. Compensation
Cash
Monthly consulting and services fee of $2,000 per month which will accrue and be deferred until the Company is cash flow positive. Upon achieving positive cash flow, the full amount of deferred compensation will be due in full with payment due by then end of the triggering month; The Company will also increase its service fee to $7,000 per month for the remainder of the contract.

Equity
The Company will issue 375,000 shares worth of RAGO common stock within the first 10 days of the initial contract date and will issue an additional 375,000 shares at the 6 month contract anniversary date.

Expense Reimbursement Only expenses that would ordinarily be incurred by the Client will be billed back on a monthly basis. Applicable reimbursements would include: creation, printing and postage for investor packages, fees for news wire services. Any packages requiring additional photocopying/printing will be billed back to the Client at cost (with no mark-up). Any extraordinary items, such as broker lunch presentations, air travel, hotel, ground transportation or media campaigns, etc. shall be paid by the Client, only with client authorization prior to incurring any expenses.

Here is the link to see the entire sample contract. The details could be different for companies but the low initial fee for unprofitable companies could be an attractive incentive.
