#174889 RE: KCCO7913 #174886

The report table of contents shows some pages discussing Ayar, so I thought perhaps it mentions other players in the field - maybe even Lightwave..

Once again the answer is that Lightwave is going from pretty much unknown and unappreciated within the industry to a major position in 5 or so years. That's a pretty big pill to ask anyone to swallow.

I hope it happens, but was not sure if it makes sense if/that LightCounting doesn't write about them - they don't come up in a search on their website either.

As for those reports - just to be clear - LightCounting doesn't say that LIghwave will be capturing any of the market. That's Lightwave's own internal projections, as I understand it.

I think you are misunderstanding me. Why would I downplay a positive development if it proves that they are being taken seriously and have real potential to capture a large market? That's the only reason I've ever been interested in them.

I do wonder though what it would really mean if they only sell to small customers. I'm sure if such an announcement happens, the board will have a clear take on it.

KCC, I agree, and I love your mark kookoowitz reference, for those who know him, many here suspected he was the kerridale poster that joined discussions here briefly before being taken to task and then like a cockroach when the lights came on he disappeared

worth a another LQQk,

No?

Do you see an EOP powered transceiver marketed yet?

You do realize that the TAM SAM SOM data that LWLG has provided comes from these reports right?

EOP powered transceivers start with a tiny slice of the market and by the end of the decade gobble up a sizable chunk. By then I’ll be on a beach and Ihub will be a distant memory.

First domino that proves Mark Cuckowitz wrong is dropping this year and I can’t wait to watch you fight to downplay it.

100% ;)

Night.
