$TSLA In Canada, a Model 3 starts at a base price of $53,900 + fees / luxury tax / environmental tax / tire tax / sales tax, etc.
A decently spec'd Model 3, something that would match a Mercedes CLA or C-class in options, will cost you $77,000+ (cdn dollars).
Almost $90,000 by the time it's delivered to your driveway. And you're still on the hook for the service upgrade to your residence, purchasing a charger, etc..
Everyone is taxed to death in Canada, before everyone sees the price & also after the price is shown.
Some just don't realize how much taxes are applied in Canada.
Definitely hurts Tesla sales penetration into the market.
