Either that or they got a thing for Yankee castoff on the worst Yankee team I seen in the last 3 decades, heck they even picked up your bench coach for manager, I'm pretty confident he won't be very good either, than again he can't be as bad as Mickey callaway and Luis rojas, I'm trying to be optimistic here. They now also want to trade navarez apparently, and they have to pick up money to do so. Personally I think they are just trying to break some kind of record to have a record number of players on payroll, but with them not actually being on the team. This strategy just keeps getting better, don't know who the backup catcher will be, but I guess that isn't important, on this unmitigated disaster known as the 2024 mets. Every time I see there strategy, it is becoming apparent to me they don't actually have one. The alternative is much worse is if this is actually a plan. So I'm going with they didn't make one. I have to remain somewhat optimistic. LOL. All is just my opinion of course.
