Dunno about that Killer. Lightwave is part of the NIST Collaboration and NIST is directly involved in the CHIPS Act. NIST knows what Lightwave is working on.

The first tranche of Chips funding goes to the foundries, but the 2nd and 3rd goes to R&D and Materials Suppliers if I recall correctly.

IF Lightwave were to pursue Chips funds, I'm sure the funds would be awarded. The greater question in my mind, is whether Lebby has any interest or need for the funds. It is pretty evident that on the R&D side of things, companies Lightwave is working with have been dedicating their own money and time towards R&D with the Perk.
