What make you think this:

As to your opening sentence, the placebo girls drop out after 4 weeks because their parents and caregivers are able to tell there is no improvements from the baseline.

?
Have you seen the placebo vs drug arm time chart?

Seems to me just an idea you've got in your head based on wanting to find an explanation why everything in the end is fine.

Powerwalker, YES, I agree!!!

I know that the placebo effect is for both arms, which is why 93.7%, i.e., p=.063, is still an impressive number.



93.7% is a great number virtually the same as 95%.

People need to understand that it is the actual results that will be important to the FDA not necessarily arbitrary make or break numbers with really insignificant differences.

Again 0.065 is not far off 0.05.

The results are what matter.

Safety and efficacy.
