#83882 RE: $Green$ #83881

Nice distraction but NERC would already be aware of that in its forecast. Thus new power coming online is simply not sufficient to meet the rising demand due to electrification of everything particularly during peak times. Which will get interesting as the earths magnetic field continues to weaken allowing for more radiation causing more intense heatwaves and at the same time allowing more heat to escape into space leading to even colder temps into the thermosphere which is beginning to leak into to the stratosphere. The record cold seen in the strat is concerning and more reason to diversify heating sources not reduce and electrify it. We are near solar maximum, we shouldnt be seeing record cold in the stratosphere which means in 5 years when we hit minimum it'll be even colder (on average)
The movie Day After Tomorrow is an exaggeration but it shows the mechanism for transfer of this cold air to come down to the surface from the strat.

The red line that turns pink is this years temps with orange the estimate. What it shows is a massive drop in temp, suggesting a loss of heat into space due to chaotic magnetic field, and then rapid heat up after a X2.3 flare struck.
