I think it's more than just ammonia sensors. From what information I can find, and there's not a plethora, Niterra always mentions developing an "aquaculture system". I think their goal is to develop a "turn key system", all automated, to sell/license to shrimp producers.

But why get involved with shrimp? They could've just bought large aquariums from a pet store and filled them with fish.
