The dollar is not "Fiat" It is backed by debt. The dollar is collaterized. I've explained this extensively. If you have not learned by now you may be incapable. All debt is money, all money is debt. It is far from fiat. The greenback was fiat. The Continental was fiat. That is currency that is simply printed on paper and distributed. The dollar is BORROWED into existence. When a person get a mortgage they are creating dollars. When they get a loan they are creating dollars. When they get a car loan they are creating dollars. When the Govt. pays the military they are creating dollars. All dollars are backed. Come on man. Figure it out!
All currencies are dying right now. Nearly equally. They keep the dollar a little stronger than all the other currencies.

You are right that gold will never be worth nothing. It will only be worth what they allow it to. They have controlled all resources for hundreds of years. They certainly are not going to lose control
