Eagle, yes that is true when the tumors recur, ideally the 2nd surgery is performed, and the new batches of vaccines can be prepared from the tumors.
However, some of these patients might not have the option due to one or several reasons, ie cost, health conditions.
If that is the case, the beauty is the existing vaccines can still be used because per the DCVax results published in JAMA, the patients with such cases can be helped.
That is one of the important findings from the DCVax-L result in JAMA, I believe.
Combined that with the combination trials and we have learned even more beautiful pictures starting to emerge.
