Car-t is really just an expensive and aggressive way to eliminate pre-specified antigens. It’s great for B cell cancer because healthy B cells carry the same targeted antigen as the cancer cell, so Car-T wipes them all out.

You can’t do that (aka additionally wipe out the organ) with the brain, the lungs, the prostate, etc because we need those organs to survive.

Unless you have a very homogenous cancer with a very low mutation rate, Car-T in solid cancer will ultimately meet the same fate as simple peptide vaccines (with a lot more side effects). The non-targeted tumor cells will escape.
