Thank you, Jet! EVERYONE MUST READ THIS POST, EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING SHARES OF KBLB. WE ARE FINALLY THERE. THE TEST BATCH IS A PRECURSOR TO MASS PRODUCTION. LOAD UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! GO KBLB!
Thanks Jet, Yankee Clipper has always been the most knowledgeable poster on this board as per his time with Warwick Mills he knows the ins and outs of the business and I was disappointed when He left this board. Ibelieve it was the time when Kim announced his now famous reverse split that he left. wish I would have followed at the time he did but he kind of left quietly without fanfare. Patrik
“could produce up to 2,750+/- square yards (20 lbs. yarn/1000 square yards fabric)”
Gauze weighs 30-50 lbs/1000 sq yds on the silk momme scale. So I guess if they are looking to make some really cheap looking material they could stretch it that far.
As much as I respect yabnkeeclipper I have to question how he arrived at that opinion. I have to stay with the clear language presented in the PR:
Why would they start mass production before completing their stated goals for the recently completed batch? They need to start and complete "Spring field trials." I'm not sure exactly what those will entail. Is that creating and testing product prototypes? Also what is considered Spring in Vietnam? Just guessing but it sounds like late summer, at the earliest, before they are completed. So, if you're looking at mass production in Q3 that assumes that the trials will go exactly as hoped for which is a huge assumption. We could hope that in his end of year letter Kim will provide some details on these "Spring trials", but I guess we all know he won't.
