The median age was 56, which is the exact same as the Stupp trial. You can find this in Table 1 of Jama or JTM articles, and Table 1 of Stupp's NEJM article. This is such basic stuff, holy cow.


Table 1 of the -L JAMA paper has NA as the median age for both Stupp and the 232 patients in the -L trial. How can LL et all miss such basic stuff, holy cow.

Digging deeper, the the Stupp trial. did disclose the median age for their ECA patients. But it was 57, not 56.

OK, minor stuff. I doubt the trial had a significant age boas.

But why she reported the median age of the -L P3 was not available is very strange. Was she not provided the dataset?

Median age being equal is irrelevant. They need patient level data for the control arm to compare apples to apples. They don't have it which is why the ECA is bullshit and why the FDA requires patient level data.
