The $1.88 Billion was an initial payment based on 1% of WMB deposit base of $188 Billion for admission purposes as stated by the FDIC. DOCUMENTED!
It’s not a‘secret’. WMI sued the FDIC for $307.2 Billion for WMB and it’s assets, after some money came back to the WMI estate (~$7.9B). The FDIC response was $299 Billion for WMB and it’s assets.
JPM is awaiting the final valuation with the LIBOR adjustments for WMB securitization for final valuation.

KeyKey.... ron is not being upfront with you on the 307 billion dollar lawsuit he says WMI won in a well documented DC courtroom for RICO charges against WMI.... the fact is the case never made it through the courts, because the judge threw it out when WMI could not produce sufficient evidence to make their case.... secondly, the WMIH 2013 10-K addresses the 1.88 billion dollar figure as being the final, and conclusive amount money that JPM paid for WAMU banks and related assets and liabilities....
