a comparison between Lehman Bros, and WAMU is like apple to oranges..... Lehman was an investment Bank, and the FDIC could not seize it because it was not a federal agency like Freddy and Fannie... WAMU was a federally chartered bank, and as such, the FDIC could seize the assets, and sell them off....google Lehman Bros......... Lodas
