Nothing is "apparent" other than the fact that he said he would give a name one year and the next he decided not to.

You can assume it is to protect the identity of the partner at their request for competitve reasons.

Or, if it is Polariton - as seems almost certain - you can assume reasonably that he didn't want to disappoint shareholders with giving a familiar name -- but more than that - it would reveal the limitations of the partner and invite obvious questions about the progress with the Foundries.

This is why I have such a negative opinion about what happened on that day.
