One of my brothers is a doctor who is a specialist located in a low income, non-urban area. He also has patients who have to travel to see him. This is a more general problem than just neurology. The distribution of doctors in the U.S. is clustered in the more desirable places to live, and there is a serious shortage elsewhere. Overall, there is a shortage of doctors in this country.
