Captain; I’ll send a message to my Nurse RN and see what she had to submit to insurance.

If I’m not mistaken, I think it’s all about the physician giving a crap and going to bat for you.

Particularly, if you’re Total Cholesterol is above 150mg/dl and you have a history of heart disease or one of the other CVD indications.

I also think age is a factor. I may be wrong?

Anyway, as soon as I find out, you’ll know.

Hey Cap. I was originally denied but finally found a Dr. who had an Asst. who knew the magic wording to get the PA approved. But until I had that done I was told to appeal to the State board for these type of insurance denials. Especially if you were receiving the drug and the past and they decided for whatever reason (we all know it's for cost) to deny this time.
