#82716 RE: Tesla thru the roof #82707

That's not what was ruled. It was ruled it was ultimately the drivers responsibility to course correct if autopilot tries to kill them. In this case it did. Obviously the plaintiff wasn't aware that when autopilot glitches like this there is no fixing it.

Case in point; at least this driver managed to survive to explain that there is no taking control of the steering when this happens.

TESLA AUTOPILOT ACCUSED OF TRYING TO KILL ITS OWNER

The owner of the car says it tried to kill her.

As soon as she enabled her badly misnamed Autopilot, or perhaps after she turned on the badly misnamed FSD (at this point just call it crap), she alleges it veered across lines and flipped itself into a tree.

ment that a car was “self-driving” when it “veered” suddenly. It only adds to the several warnings I’ve written recently given multiple similar “veered” crashes.

Like me, this author has been trying to warn people about the dangers of Teslas going out of control and veering off course.

Tesla seem to "GLITCH" in 2 main ways. Either suddenly and unexpectedly accelerate or the driver loses control of steering to the Tesla as it veers off path into oncoming traffic, trees, houses, etc...
