Sean White - What would it take to retool that factory to use your silicon anode technologies?

Matt Kappers - Not much. Our material is a slurry, and the slurry gets put onto the material and so it wouldn’t be that hard. To say it’s a ‘drop in’ – drop in is an overused term, but it really is. You know, it would not be difficult.


So we can see if there is a roll to roll production line running an all graphite film, it’s going to be a simple matter to substitute Endurion anode film containing a target of 20% silicon. Matt Kappers also said the plan is to license Endurion, so once the agreement is hammered out it seems any particular manufacturer could be making Endurion batteries is short order. It was also stated that a 20% mix of silicon (Endurion style) would double the range of the typical EV. Who will partner with Coretec first???
