Why not produce an image and explain this is why they are seeking a permit. They can keep the location secret, but explain the depth, size, shape, as well as the metal content can be shown, don't you think? Salvors do it all the time to raise money before they begin a project.

Even if they never get the permit, which they admit is a possibility, at least explain what they know or believe the tech is seeing.

Now some may say, but if they get the permit and it's not exactly as they said, then the critics will jump on that.

I assure you; no one is going to complain that the data showed 42 chests of gold when there were actually 36 chests of gold. Or 6 of the chests were silver, not gold.

So, it would need tweaking? Big deal, they got the gold, and the media deal kicks in, right?

They won't sell the treasure, but they'll get a huge TV deal according to Kyle.

Maybe he should have given more advice to EXPL? Or did they just not listen?

I prefer conclusive evidence myself.

If they have more detailed images vs. blurry images, great. But for now, those images need to be proven before being shown to the public.

Anything else would be unacceptable. Show the images after those targets are proven to be gold or silver. After the big announcement... or several announcements.

"This is what our tech shows and this is what it was." That will be conclusive proof.

After a few wrecks or at least multiple targets prove to be what they are, then, maybe, we can start to say hey, this is what are tech is telling us on these targets that we haven't dug up yet.

But not until then.
