Sub-bottom profilers produce images and show.....

what's under the sand. Here are two examples.

Reynolds said today that as the tech scans, "we can actually determine the location, depth, size, shape of all of the objects, as well as its metal content." Exact quote, not a summary.

Why not produce an image and explain this is why they are seeking a permit. They can keep the location secret, but explain the depth, size, shape, as well as the metal content can be shown, don't you think? Salvors do it all the time to raise money before they begin a project.

Even if they never get the permit, which they admit is a possibility, at least explain what they know or believe the tech is seeing.

Now some may say, but if they get the permit and it's not exactly as they said, then the critics will jump on that.

I assure you; no one is going to complain that the data showed 42 chests of gold when there were actually 36 chests of gold. Or 6 of the chests were silver, not gold.

So, it would need tweaking? Big deal, they got the gold, and the media deal kicks in, right?

They won't sell the treasure, but they'll get a huge TV deal according to Kyle.
