No one has adequately explained why anyone is impressed that Dr. Liau joining the SAB is a big deal.

She already has a huge stake in DCVax-L succeeding and Direct moving forward because they are her life’s work.

I (don't really) miss the old days, but during those times, the HL FUD was at least marginally better.

One of the fudster narratives was that Dr Liau didn't want anything to do w NWBO was debunked big time; that was very entertaining and the agita felt by shorts palpable. But LPs comment in the PR said it nicely

Her experience as a leader in the neuro-oncology field, her decades of research and knowledge of both brain cancer biology and immunotherapies, and her extensive experience with DCVax-L as the Principal Investigator of the Phase 3 trial, will be invaluable as we work together on DCVax-L approval and on future clinical programs building on that.”
