Montgomery has certainly been nothing if not under appreciated. At the time, the Yanks deal for Bader didn't look horrible, but nobody makes a trade thinking it's not going to work out. Guess the proof is in the results, which over time, prove the difference between a quality GM and a chattering bonehead.
