Flip - yes that sounds right but on THIS MTD there is imo a very slight chance of an oral ruling at oral argument. Motions involve the entire range of decisions from case-existential as here to very ministerial to even fairly routine. The Court will draft an extensive Opinion that reviews the contentions of the parties, a reasonable review of what the Court considers critical facts, the significant caselaw cited in briefs or argument (really there should not be anything new), and the Court’s reasoning in reaching its ruling.
