those buying the C prefs with the right to convert sub the 10-day average in many cases have sold short at higher prices or have sold their long position to finance the buying of the C prefs. Nice gain in one deal for the C prefs buyers.
As soon as management stops selling of the C prefs sub far below the 10-day average the traded SP may actually gain in value. Now apparently management does not value the traded SP as the correct value otherwise they would not sell far below it.
Vator, I'll agree that they'll go to 1.7 billion, and more, but not until substantially more shares are authorized. With the share price well into the dollar range shareholders will be only too happy to authorize more shares. If the equity partnerships that many investors want to see are to happen, additional shares will almost certainly be needed.
