I NEVER knew that about blue light! LOL. That makes perfect sense, though. And now that I think of it, I've never seen a drag queen in blue light, neither on stage nor anywhere else.

I know about yellow light and makeup, though. Never show un-made-up skin in yellow light. I once made poor Tamaki slide down the hill on stage in front of 3,500 people in a springtime scene that was lit with yellow light. That would have been bad enough, but before she lost her grip on my ankle and slid down the hill, she sort of slid out of her dress first. And all that yellow light on her naked thighs as she kicked and thrashed made her resemble a pod of beached white whales. It was 15 years before she would speak of it.
