Ya the best way to cook tri tip is to smoke it ! Smoke it until internal temp is 120degrees. Then reverse sear it at 600 degrees until its 130 degrees! The rub is the key Olive oil salt pepper and Cheyenne pepper! Perfect Tri Tip!
