you should consider getting a new identity. if what you say is true because you will need it.
But it does not matter even if somebody (not anybody you know) said they were going to buy half a million shares. That is not how the stock market works. Sure, it would give the share price a boost, but that would wear out very quickly. days.. The market will assess and almost no matter how much any individual would buy, the market will rise or sink to the value assessed by the market. In the same way that if you wanted to dump 250,000 shares, the market would take it all. It must. It would bow down of course if you dumped it all, but if you feed it in, the market will simply accept it all at a certain price. The market is the market. It does not care pretty much about some whale coming in, if the whale is wrong.
