I do post "to be right", as I think everyone should. You should not post with the intention of being wrong.
I call out others when they are factually wrong, yes. I think it's valid, worthwhile and substantial to do so. It brings balance. And others call me out and, when they prove themselves right, I admit I was wrong. I've done so quite a few times in the past.
The difference in what I do versus what Hoff does, is when he is wrong (quite frequently, see this morning's discussion for the most recent example) he builds a strawman and posts twitter polls to deflect, rather than say "Oops, I misunderstood that poster, my bad for calling him out and accusing him of being a short etc etc".
