Exactly! I think we hopefully have a well meaning CEO who has financial experience in biotech and he says big pharma (which is not that big), but no practical clinical or research experience prior to landing his CEO job.
He is obviously a scientist, but not a medical doctor and he insists on being the front man doing all the talking and ‘strategising’. It seemed smart and refreshing for a while, but has now become a liability.
I’m hoping this readout and PR mess gets better, but not sure Missling is good at delegating to his experts and making sure these fumbles will not continue.
