Apple needs to now bring out innovations holding back. Huwaii kicking butt in China and around the world. May be just what Apple needs...a motivator to take it to the next level in a few key areas. Hopefully that would include liquid metal in a bigger way. Certainly technology doesn't stand still. Outside of Apple I think if the company stands a good chance of a hail mary it will come from DARPA et al.
