extrooper,

If you saw flipper44’s chart today you would understand a part of the answer. Institutional ownership has been climbing to 3.3+ million shares while the value of the shares was declining this year. Those folks don’t want a break out any time soon because they are operating under different guidelines than most of the big institutions. They want in as far as possible for less than $5 because after that time they will have more competition. The short positions may be creating this opportunity for those buying or those buying are just taking advantage of what the shorts have been doing. If the former it’s a hedge play. If the latter the shorts are in the pot and the temperature has been gradually rising so as not to create too much of a mass rush to exit yet. Best wishes.

Why there are no traders or investors buying this on up to $10 + , is the question, because there is no logical reason for buyers not to keep on buying. The inherent value of the new glioblastoma SOC is far above the value of any pharmaceutical company in existence.

The reason is that few outside the existing hard core investors even know NWBO exists.

The hard core investors long ago bought what they could during the practically endless “Last chances go buy cheap (for real this time!)”

So those investors who are already way overweight in this stock and have been burned before (whether they are honest enough to say so or not) are buying more but despite boasts of tens of thousands of shares being bought on almost a whim, most accumulation is fairly cautious.

When will this change?

When NWBO PRs that they have filed for approval the market will start paying attention because there are folks who look for binary, near-term catalysts right now.

That kind of heating up can quickly build a momentum of its own.
