If Mc Connell loved his Country, he would retire ASAP, but obviously he doesn't He loves himself and his power above all else. Are any GOP Senators calling him out? None that I know of.
My favorite, of modern politicians, is Senator Tom Coburn R-OK. Coburn ran on a promise to retire after his second term. He developed cancer a year or so into his second term, and retired to die peacefully.
He spent his time in the Senate pointing out corruption and outrageous earmarks. Word was that many Republican Senators hated him. I wish we had more Tom Coburns.
