Since facts don't matter at the WSJ editorial board, I shouldn't be surprised that they doubled the cost of a Tesla Class 8 semi-truck without mentioning that fuel costs are reduced by roughly 75% or $60k per year, (100,000 miles), or that CARB tax credits for Class 8 semis is $120k, (plus the $40k IRA credit). I'll let you do the maths.

Let's also keep in mind that the same people who decry government overreach with regard to electric vehicles are, among other shameful acts, banning books, controlling women's reproductive rights and requiring that children learn that slavery had "personal benefits". So much for an unfettered laissez-faire "conservative" philosophy.
