Hi Tex,

It incorporates Poets 800g rx engine.

rx means receive chiplet. There is no mention of Poets transmit engine being used. The original news release 4-5 months ago said the same thing. They want the recieve engine for 800g.

I was hoping Luxshare would reveal who’s transmit engine (tx) they would use to complete the transceiver.

I was guessing it would be Poets but that demo announcement does not explain who Luxshare is using with Poet.

It could be Scorpios.

It’s ok, there’s money to be made if Poet has approximately 50% of the Luxshare transceiver business, especially if Meta gives Luxshare the lions share of their data center business for Fr4 transceivers. Jmho
