The Fireman thing again? This is getting comical. I am going to look into changing my career from Brookhaven National Laboratory to a FDNY fire house. This is a omen! Maybe I would get more exercise vs. sitting at a research facility all day, pondering through tons of data and getting fat and lazy. On second thought, I just changed careers 3.5 months ago that required a huge move from San Juan > Long Island, NY.....not again. Although the FDNY's nearest Fire House is only 20 miles away. It would be a easy move. Any info how one would go about becoming a firefighter in NY? TIA
