Tied for 3rd are the 2 admins here. Some of their regional recipes are unique. I can't remember my grandmother or my aunt ever making bread. We did have a nearby bakery nearby where we'd buy fresh baked bread on special occasions.
My grandmother was always baking pies from scratch and she always had leftover dough to bake a pie crust with cinnamon and sugar. The pie pan had a little lever that you could turn to free the crust.
