There is also more to describing an entity’s investment style than NPORT filings. A company like Refinitiv have a huge content operation with analysts spending every day cross linking information from several types of data about for example institutional investors, their activities, filings from them and related to them etc creating value, which is a big reason professional investors subscribe to the service. rather that doing the impossible with the scale of a content operation and systems and processes developed over decades.
The fear some people feel from knowledge is their own issue.
