Mr Stockboy; Rose is correct Lovaza reduces Trigs more than Vascepa does. The Big difference between Lovaza and Vascepa is that Vascepa lowers LDL, whereas Lovaza does not. Vascepa has also been proven to reduce CVD events and other markers. Lovaza has not been proven to reduce CVD events. Lovaza is really just DHA, which has been known to reduce Trigs. It's beyond me why the medical community still prescribes Lovaza.

Go ahead and Google the difference between DHA and EPA

Nah, It's old hat from a decade ago on this board. V is not the most appropriate treatment for all things, times, and places. Anti inflammatory, TG reduction, yes. Total replacement for steroids, statins, total treatment for ultra high TG's/pancreatitis, no.
