Close was at 0.0005 at the ask. With your example, anyone buying at the ask, or anywhere above the current bid, would be underwater immediately after the purchase. The bid/ask bounced all day between 0.0003/0.0004 and 0.0004/0.0005.

Since Fidelity only allows price entry on trades entered to the nearest 0.0001, if he got a price of 0.00047 it was likely with multiple trades, some at 0.0004 and some at 0.0005, with the average being at 0.00047. Last time I checked, investment valuations are calculated at the current or last trading price and ignores the bid/ask spread. I have bought shares at the bid price as well as the ask price. So has everyone else. Right now Fidelity would show a gain on shares purchased at 0.00047 because the stock closed at 0.0005

Some are still adding shares. Why does that bother you and JP so much? Not everyone agrees with you. I know cancel culture is the going trend, but you can't cancel those of us who still see opportunity with this investment.

Its the good work you do caring for other peoples money/finances.

You could parlay that into a CFA thing maybe?? Maybe you already do that and just donate time/effort here gratis to help others. True gift
