Why Graphite Sourcing = Huge Price increase: $TORVF:

Inflation Reduction Act:

EV companies must source at least 50% of their battery components by value in the United States or allied countries beginning in 2024, a percentage that increases to 80% after 2026. By 2029, 100% of battery manufacturing must be in North America.

They ALL need Graphite, and the proprietary Graphite Air Classification process of $TORVF reduces production costs by 90%

And while China has 4% graphite in their ore, Canada has 40%.....so Graphite production will explode.

$TORVF just got a contract to process 27 Tons at $50,000/Ton = $1,350,000.

b]$TORVF - Innovation Article on Air Classifier:

Volt Carbon Technologies will utilise its superior classifier separation technique to purify large-flake graphite.

"VCT has an offtake agreement with Ameca Mining, which coupled with the great potential of the unique air classification technology, means the company is well-positioned in the supply chain and to responsibly process high-quality natural graphite."

$QS is a battery company that many compare against.

Although Volt - $TORVF claims that their battery tech is competitive against QS they are still a microcap and not listed on NASDAQ (yet) and are not in bed with an EV mfg like VW (yet).

I couldn't find anything in Volt's filings that protect them from a buyout or hostile takeover, as most companies have a "poison pill" they can deploy to keep others away.

I'm cool if $QS, $TSLA, Panasonic, Ford, etc. come knocking and cause a ruckus and make the share price go ape shit crazy.

Even Ferrari ($RACE) is getting into the EV game and looking for tech and IP.

Sometimes companies eliminate competition with an acquisition.
