A buyout at this point would not surprise me

- they hired cosmetic sales force 3 months prior to cosmetic approval but won't sell therapeutic until end of Jan so still time for sales force to be hired/trained/deployed.
- I doubt you would know if they started to create a therapeutic sales team, how would you?
- will not ship until sometime in 2024 is in line with Dew's estimates/slow roll
- isn't behavior in line with acquiring a therapeutic partner?

But, I'll play. So they dropped to 18 so the buyout premium would look impressive? What do you think someone would pay? Does 100 million from ATM support or discourage your theory, I could see that going either way. Some of the behavior below seems odd, I'll give you that unless it's a therapeutic partnership. If it is, why not announce that now?

if RVNC has a BO offer both parties have to submit paperwork to the FTC for approval prior to announcing the BO. The FTC has 30 days to respond which would be sometime in September

Not true. Deals are announced and signed-up prior to FTC approval. FTC approval is needed to close the deal, but that does not happen before a deal is signed-up or announced (e.g., MSFT-ATVI).

RVNC Management / Board does not need to disclose a BO was provided, and thus, RVNC could have a BO in-hand, RVNC could be in merger discussions, etc.. However, if RVNC Board agrees to BO terms, it'll be announced immediately to shareholders.

RVNC has not recruited or even started to create a therapeutic sales team

Given RVNC isn't starting therapeutic sales until 2024, it likely is in some sort of discussions (partnership, BO, etc.). I would think most likely partnership discussions (vs. BO), but anything is possible.
