Oh the moon landings certainly must have happened because when I was 5 years old my mother made me watch it on television!

What I really wanted to watch was Kimba the white lion.

I'm still traumatized by the change in schedules.

I went to the supermarket (lidl) today, picked up some stuff, loaded it in my car and I'm taking the shopping cart back the the shopping cart storage. Anyway, this guy rolls in with some sort of bicycle that you sit down in and pedal, it has a cabin to keep out the elements, and there is a trailer with solar panels on it, so I suspect the bike must be electrically assisted.

So I hear the guy ask someone in real bad French for a smoke. He gets one and says thank you, in English.

So now I'm intrigued. So I go to talk to him. Turns out he's from Prague, a geologist and when his services are not required he moves from country to country, just him and his contraption. About 14,000 miles so far.

I gave him a few bucks and some advice about where he could set up his tent.

I shoulda taken a picture.

There was this women on the fringes listening to us talking in English for about 1/2 hour, finally she left. She may have had a question for him.
