Zip - I'm beginning to wonder if that is true. We just celebrated by mother's 97th birthday yesterday.
She has outlived anyone related to her by 10 yrs. She's sharp mentally and in pretty good shape physically. She's never had cancer even though all her siblings died of cancer. Her secret? She has taken OTC fish oil since her 30's.

The problem is she wants to die but her body is not cooperating (haha). I'm beginning to wonder if she'll live forever.

IMO, she is confirmation of the slight benefit she received from OTC fish oil. I wonder how she would be today if she had taken full dose Vascepa??

I agree with you re the anti-aging / anti-inflammatory effects of purified EPA on many conditions - especially CVD and many forms of cancer. It's too bad BP didn't scoop this up and maximize it's value in all these pleiotropic areas. Perhaps BRAVE results will entice them to finally do so.

Yep, Zip, we all eventually die. Some of us just hope that it is quick and painless, rather than suffering through a long illness or becoming totally dependent on others. I am most afraid of a stroke and hopefully between Vascepa, my genes, and some other variables, I will be fortunate enough to not to ever suffer a stroke.
